MTC's Services

Meeting the Challenge, Inc. provides consulting services in four areas: Program Performance Evaluation, Small Business Innovation Research program support, Servicesoft/Kana Knowledge Management System support, and ADA and Fair Housing Act architectural plan reviews and site surveys.

The Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) mandates that all federal programs conduct performance evaluations of their program to determine whether the intended outcomes of the program area achieved. As a result of work conducted on the ADA Impact Measurement System (AIMS) project, MTC has gained extensive expertise in this field. To date we have assisted other programs to develop their performance indicators and put in place data collection systems to gather trhe necessary information to accurately report outcomes to their sponsor. In addition, MTC has provided training for several organizations in implementing performance evaluations for their project. The Small Business Innovation Research program is a federally funded program (over $1.6 billion annually) that encourages entrepreneurs to produce innovative solutions to complex problems. MTC conducts training programs across the country on how to succeed in the program. MTC was created in large part using the SBIR program to fund the early stage of the company. MTC also assists companies individually to produce competitive proposals for the program. We have partivcipated in the development of over 300 proposals with a success rate of nearly 50%.

Knowledge Management Systems are increasingly used to expand the capabilities of individuals and organizations to manage information in an intelligent way. MTC has developed a unique understanding of the knowledge management system distributed by Kana/Servicesoft. We work with individual organizations to develop their knkowledge management system and provide training to the staff of those organizations in both the operational use of the system and the effective development of the knowledge base that supports the system.

The Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Housing Act have detailed requirements for accessibility of the built environment. MTC has significant experience in conducting architectural plan reviews as well as on-site surveys for compliance with these complex standards.
